The Walten Files Wiki

The ShowBear, also referred to as Scrapped Freddy (or Motherdoer specifically from ThunderingStatic), is a major antagonist in Welcome to Bon's Burgers, as well as a recurring character in The Walten Files, with his largest role so far being in BunnyFarm. He is responsible for helping Sophie remember her forgotten past alongside Edd and Molly/Rocket.

Appearance[]

WtBB WIP

In Relocate Project and Lucky You, The ShowBear is a small white bear with blue fur on his inner ears, eyelids, belly, fingers, and the tips of his feet, along with pale blue for his muzzle. He has small, round ears, yellow eyes, with his left eye being blue, and his right eye being brown, a large, red, horizontal oval shaped nose, a light blue muzzle, and a large smile with one tooth sticking out. He has a tall and pudgy torso, with a large, round belly, along with short stubby limbs. He has four fingers on both of his small hands, and large, round feet. He wears a small brown bowler hat, a brown bowtie, and two small red buttons, one above his belly, and the other in the center.

In BunnyFarm, ShowBear has a painted and distorted style compared to the simple and cartoonish style of his cutout. All his areas that were dark blue are now light blue, and he has a noticeably taller and boxier build with very long and thick limbs. His head is smaller compared to his body, and his eyes are black and white. His muzzle and nose are now triangular instead of rounded, and he now has red cheeks, and large menacing grin, with a full set of teeth, that is in the shape of a semi-wide "V". He now has a red outline around his belly, which itself takes up most of his torso now, and has three red buttons instead of two. His limbs are now covered with thin red stripes, and instead of hands, his now long black fingers just seem to protrude from the ends of his arms. He now wears a black bowler hat and bowtie.

Sprites are obviously gonna be a WIP for awhile

Scrap Circus & Welcome To Bon's Burgers[]

The date of his creation was unknown, but he was meant to appear in a now cancelled game called "The Scrap Circus", (which Static himself has told us at the wiki to not discuss that much as he seems very disappointed and ashamed of the project and wishes for it to remain dead) as seemingly the main antagonist.

In WTBB, Scrap Freddy appears in Chapter 1, and forces the player to give him 5 coins in order to live.

Relocate Project & Lucky You[]

As Ashley Parks searches around the K-9 Storage Facility, specifically in room 26 or 27, a small cardboard cutout of him can be seen behind Boozoo's head to the right. Then in "Lucky You" the voice talking in the middle of the video may most likely be his, supposedly guiding Sophie, by telling her: "You must be so confused about what you saw. Don't be scared my little bunny, answers will be given eventually. But don't try to solve this puzzle only with the pieces you have so far. This is only the beginning, for I am going to tell you a story of broken people. Beautiful people. He is so sorry about what he did to them, but there's nothing he can do, remember that". He then repeats the phrase, "Safety in pills, Sophie", as the deaths of Brian and Ashley are played on-screen, after which the drawing of him first seen on his cardboard cutout is shown shortly before the picture Sophie's pill bottle appears.

BunnyFarm[]

After seeing her mother's death, Sophie Walten witnesses Showbear emerging from the darkness of the well. Showbear tells her that she is at his "magic fountain of memories". He asks what she would like to remember and gives her a piece of paper. Sophie asks "who are you", only to be met with silence; when she draws two stick figures he shows her the fate of her siblings, Edward and Molly Walten. (THIS NEEDS HEAVY EXPANSION).

Abilities[]

NOTE: This is speculation that is based off what's shown in BunnyFarm.

The Showbear in Bunny Farm shows some kind of memory manipulation, being able to show Sophie's memories that have been repressed, either due to her medicine or as a response to trauma. It could possibly be some version of thoughtography, the power to burn memories into surfaces from ones mind through psychic means.

Quotes:[]

  • "He is so sorry for what he did to them, but there is nothing he can do. Remember that."
  • "Safety in pills, Sophie."
  • "Come one and come all, welcome to my magic fountain of memories! Step right up and enter your most repressed experiences and get ready to be amazed by my magic."
  • "Be weary, for this memory seems to be buried deep within your mind. You must find them, Sophie."
  • "Uncle Felix sure drank a lot that day."
  • "They didn't go home that night. He buried them here; he was too scared. But they found a way out eventually."
  • "But that's not all, is it? There's still something you forgot to remember they've been waiting for you, Sophie."

Trivia[]

  • Scrap Freddy seems to be heavily inspired by Funtime Freddy from FNAF: Sister Location, even being a version of him when he was going to debut in The Scrap Circus, and Molten Freddy from Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.
  • Due to ShowBear being referred to as "Scrap Freddy" in WtBB, it may be possible that he would've been a version of Freddy Fazbear from the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise in that universe. Though, with WtBB Apparently taking place before FNAF, and stating that the characters were made all the way in the '60s somehow, this seems to conflict with the already rather confusing timeline for the game.
  • Due to his creator, ThunderingStatic, leaving the TWF series, the character's fate is unclear. However, he will apparently be replaced, though it is unknown by who. Possibly Hidie, Tammy, or TVA, given their prior major appearances in WtBB.
