Linda Kranken, now Linda Thompson, is an unseen character who we know to be Felix Kranken's exwife. Her only mentions are in BunnyFarm and CyberFun Tech.

Backstory[]

Like Jack Walten, Felix married Linda soon after college. However, they had no children unlike the Waltens. Linda always supported Felix and his dreams to open Bon's Burgers, but began documenting strange behavior from her husband October 30th, 1964. Most of the entries are scratched out or redacted, and some speculate it was Felix who made these changes. The transcripts are written almost exactly as shown, the only difference being the all-capitalized font that Linda uses.

Entry One; October 30th, 1964[]

As seen in The Walten Files 3 - BunnyFarm

Entry One.

On October 30th, Felix had become a rampant alcoholic, as Linda noted, "drinking more than usual." She also noted that he had been coming home very late, and on one instance, he came home very stressed and crying.

Felix has been acting weird lately. He's been drinking more than usual. i am very worried about him.

i don't know what to do

He came home at 4 AM ... (Rest unintelligible.)

Entry Two; August 23rd, 1965[]

Lindas note says, I know I haven't talked here as much I used to. This month has been so so so so crazy, I moved in with Felix last week, He was very happy about it. Yesterday Jack and Rose had their third child. A little girl! Her name is Molly, Molly Walten. Jack and Felix have been pitching up the "restaurant idea" with a company that's interested in the project. The names "Cyberfun Tech"

Entry Three; December 26th, 1970[]

the third entry, seen at 25:09 in The Walten Files 3 - BunnyFarm

Entry Three

In this entry she gives us a bit more information. She says that around Christmas that year "they", likely referring to Jack and Felix, made the grey rabbit doll Rocket for Edd and Molly. She states that Molly was the one to give the doll the name Rocket. She also says that Felix drank a lot the day before, which had been a problem for a while at the time of writing. She states that she thinks he's a good person, but that he doesn't want to change, or just cant address it with her no matter how bad it got.

December 26

1970

Christmas was nice, they built a doll, a gray rabbit, for Ed and Molly. Molly named it Rocket.

Felix drank a lot yesterday this has been a problem for a while.

He is a good person, but he doesnt wanna adress[sic] this.

it's getting worse and worse but he doesn't notice.

He feels bad about it, but doesn't try to change

Entry Four; January 3rd, 1973[]

Linda's Entry Says, Its's getting worse, he's so submerged with their project that he doesn't realize how much damage he's doing to himself, how much damage he's doing to me. He keeps going to places only to drink, sometimes he even stays at the warehouse for the sole purpose of drinking, he doesn't listen, he never listens,I don't know what to do

? Entry; ?? ???, ????[]

We don't know when this was written.

? Entry

This Entry appears to be a mental breakdown from Linda, reading: “I don’t know what to do! I am so worried I (redacted) make it I just cannot help.”

The redacted word is assumed to be "can't".

The Last Entry/Linda's Last Note to Felix; May 2nd, 1974[]

She writes this last entry as a letter to Felix, starting with "Dear Felix" instead of the normal diary like format.

She tells him by the time he reads the letter she won't be home, and that she's as confused as he is. She remarks that "what he said to her last week" hurt her a lot, but also opened her eyes. What exactly he had said was never revealed. She tells him that their relationship isn't healthy, and it never was. She tells him that she's leaving Brighton, and that she wrote the letter while Felix was at the Warehouse with Jack. She says that she'll already be in Hurricane, likely in Utah, by the time he read it. She says that he was busy with Jack with the "Spring Party," which Felix had been bringing Edd and Molly home from when the car crash occurred. In her last words, she tells him that she's going to rebuild her life while she still can, and she hopes Felix would try to do that too. Her final words are, "I Love You. Goodbye. -Linda"

Felix, having found the paper, writes on the side in red ink, "I am so sorry, Linda. I am so sorry." This is presumably when he had come home after burying the Walten children.

Dear Felix: May 2nd, 1974

By the time you're reading this i shouldn't be home, i know you're confused, i am confused too.

What you said last week it hurt me a lot, but it opened my eyes, hopefully this opens your eyes too.

Our relationship isn't healthy, i don't think it ever was.

i am leaving Brighton this morning. You're at the Warehouse with Jack and the rest as i'm writing this

By the time you get home, i'll already be in Hurricane.

i know you are busy today doing Jack a favor. (Something related to a school party. i can't remember) but please go there when you have the time.

As to me, i'll try to build my own life while i still can, you should do that too.

i love you

Goodbye. - Linda i am so sorry, linda. i am so sorry.
