BunnyFarm is the 3rd and thus far the longest tape in The Walten Files Season 1. The tape showcases the gameplay of a rare beta build of the game BunnyFarm. It also serves as an introduction to Sophie Walten.
Introduction[]
The tape starts by flashing small clips from the previous episodes, before a picture of Sophie Walten slowly fades into view. As it fades in, new clips that haven't been shown yet flash as well. The clearer the picture gets, the faster the flashing gets, until eventually it stops, and we see only Sophie's picture, with a blank, black background. Under the picture, the words "Sophie Walten 22 Years old (Born 1960)" appear. After a moment, it replaces the picture with Jenny's, the text now saying "Jenny Letterson 26 years old (Born 1956)". Then, it hard cuts to an image, saying, "Footage from: October 15th, 1982".
Starting the Game[]
The footage itself begins with the faintly seen text, "BUNNYSMILESGAMES" coming down from the top of the screen. Once they reach the middle of the screen, the text becomes filled in with bright orange, as the words, "CYBERFUN Tech - 1982" appear, and an image of Little Billy sitting down and holding a joystick appears from the side. It then cuts to an image of a yellow box with text reading, "BUNNY SMILES INCORPORATED BETA TESTER GOLDEN TICKET" and an image of Sha, Bon, and Boozoo. It cuts to black again for a very brief moment, and we see Bon's head come down from the screen, before the title of the game is revealed. Along with that, it also has the text, "Bunny Smiles Games 1975 - 1982" across the bottom. Then, Jenny and Sophie begin to speak.
Jenny tells Sophie that this was the game that she's been wanting to show her, and that she played for awhile and thought that she would enjoy it, where after Sophie thanks her. Jenny mentions that the owners of the building they are in recently installed the machine in the basement, and tells her to be careful, and that the janitor told her that these are very delicate and expensive. Sophie then starts the game, and it brings her to a file select screen. Among the blank saves, there are a few save files that have been created prior to Sophie playing the game. These include: _BSI28019, _BSITESTE, _E08JENNY, _BSITEST2, _STARLA00, _JANITOR9, and _0082CHRI. Jenny tells Sophie to choose a name for her save file, and Sophie remarks how she can see Jenny's save. Jenny laughs a bit, before telling Sophie that the idea is for her to play the game from scratch. Sophie then selects an empty save file, and begins to type her name, where she accidentally names her save file Soapie, to which Jenny then proceeds to laugh at her.
Meeting the Showstoppers[]
The game itself begins with a cutscene taking place in Bon's Burgers. The cutscene shows Bon telling the Boozoo, Sha, and Banny to gather around. Seemingly, Boozoo and Sha have forgotten something important, and after some annoyance from Bon, Banny explains that it's the Annual Fruit Festival, and that they hold a huge party for it at the restaurant. Bon proceeds to ask them if they brought fruits, but no one did. Boozoo asks if the Fruit Festival is going to be cancelled, and instead of answering, Bon insults them and says that they are always forgetting important things. Pete the Hippo chimes in and says that his barn is full of fruits that they could take in return for a few favors. Banny gets excited, and Bon agrees to going. Sha mentions that it will be fun, but before she can finish her statement, the game seems to glitch a little. It cuts to a sprite of Billy with Sha saying his name, and then to a sprite of Banny saying "WHAT". Still glitching a little, Pete says, "Well, what are- wai- fo-me!" This is supposed to say "Well, what are we waiting for? Follow me!", as shown in the game system's captions. Pete's sprite disappears, soon followed by the background, but not before a certain figure can be seen for a split second.
At the Farm[]
The game cuts to an image of Pete and Holly in front of a picture of a farm, with the words, "Pete the Hippo's Farm". After that, it transitions to a loading screen with an image of a cartoon Banny, and a caption to the right saying: "FUN FACT: Banny loves birds! She LOVES to hear birds sing too! Do you like Birds?" Red text saying, "RECORDING" also appears on the top left, staying there throughout most of the tape. While the game loads, Sophie tells Jenny that she loves the art style of the game, and that it seems familiar somehow. The game then finishes loading, changing to a pixel style. The player character is Bon, and you are shown to be standing in front of the barn. Jenny states that she should show Sophie the controls, and while she is doing that, she explains that the game seems very unfinished. Sophie mentions that it was specified to be a Beta version, and Jenny proceeds to tell her that BSI specified that as well, but the glitches are "freaky", which is what made her think of showing it to Sophie. Sophie asks what BSI is, along with asking if she's heard that name before. Jenny tells her that the company has been relevant for a few weeks due to some strange rumors. They go on to talk about the rumors of Brian and Ashley's deaths. Then, after a moment of silence, Jenny asks if Sophie is okay, and Sophie trails off while saying that she was thinking about something.
During their entire conversation, Sophie had been wandering throughout the hub area, visiting various locations. These include a party area with Boozoo to the bottom right of the starting point, a small house with Banny in front of it to the bottom left, and a larger house with a hippo statue in front of it, where Sha is hanging out. The statue has the following text written on it: "Bobbie the Hippo was the original owner of the town. He had two sons, Pete the Hippo and Johnny the Hippo. Bobbie made the promise of creating the best quality barn in the world. R.I.P Bobbie, Older year - Other year." Sophie remarks that Sha's minigame looks boring, where Jenny responds, saying that Sha is her favorite. After that, Sophie then heads back towards the barn, where Billy is. Sophie remarks that she likes Billy, and Jenny shows her how to select the game.
Billy's Puzzles[]
The loading screen for this section shows a glitched picture of Sha and a caption saying nothing other than "FUN FACT:". Jenny makes a remark about how she said the game was broken, and Sophie agrees. Sophie then says, again, that Bunny Smiles seems familiar, and that the game is bringing back memories that she couldn't quite exactly remember. Eventually, Jenny states that she has to go and finish an essay, but that Sophie should talk to her if she has any questions regarding the game. Sophie continues playing by herself.
We are shown another cutscene, this one being shorter. This cutscene shows Billy talking about how he has to set up for the party, but the supplies he needs are located inside of complex puzzles. He asks Bon to help him solve the puzzles, and the game glitches out again. Billy's sprite keeps disappearing, and the voice lines keep cutting off, until the screen freezes on several sprites of Billy being overlaid on top of each other. Those sprites disappear and the screen turns darker. After the screen turns darker, Billy's animatronic form appears in the background, with a face that's distorted into the shape of a human face, and a couple edited voice lines that sound similar to someone else play, saying "found this", and something unintelligible. The screen goes black, and then we come to the game itself.
Sophie is placed in a pixelated party room of Bon's Burgers, and for a second she is confused on what to do. Once she steps off of the left side of the stage, one of the present boxes around the room seems to clip behind Bon. It disappears as a chime is played, presumably a representation of the present being opened, and a blurry image of Sha beside some party tables is shown. Once the image disappears, Sophie continues to wander around. She exits through the opening on the right side of the room, and Billy follows. The chime plays again immediately, and a blurry image of what looks to be Bon beside some booths appears. Once that one disappears, Sophie moves Bon up to a door in the top left. Billy again tries to follow, but he gets stuck in a loop, going back and forth in front of the door. Sophie then moves Bon to a present box on the bottom left, and seemingly opens it, though the chime is delayed by a few seconds. This image, one of Showbear, flickers on and off the screen, and Billy disappears entirely. The screen itself then flickers, and suddenly we are transported to another room.
This room seems to be a game room, with a carousel, mechanical rocket, and some sort of shooting game. Billy says that they need to get the party hats first, and that they should be in the basement. Sophie moves Bon around aimlessly again, and then he clips underneath party tables in the room, which causes Sophie to remark on the game seeming more broken than she thought. She moves up to double doors on the north side of the room, and the screen fades to black, leaving only the mechanical rocket, before it too, disappears.
We are then taken to yet another room, this one being very different with a very faded, pink and black version of the picture of Billy we saw at the start, and a big frog-looking machine. There is no music, and again Sophie seems confused for a moment. She soon realizes that she has to pick up a battery and put it into the machine. Once she does that, it powers on and a marker comes out on the conveyor belt. A short minigame of Tic-Tac-Toe ensues, and Sophie wins. The game goes silent again, and Billy exits the room. Sophie tries, and fails, to follow him, before glitching back to the middle of the room as Billy returns with a present box.
Billy sets the box down in front of the machine, and when Sophie opens it, Ashley's distorted face appears. Sophie is shocked and audibly asks what it is, and the background disappears, leaving only the image while music begins to play. When the music cuts out, another unintelligible voice clip plays. Sophie is now beginning to get scared, calling out Jenny's name. The screen suddenly cuts back to the cartoon of Bon's Burgers, with what seems to be many sounds playing at once. The overlayed sprites of Billy flicker on and off the screen, revealing Ashley's mangled face from before, and then glitching back to the farm. The sounds continue playing, and Sophie mumbles about restarting the level, but after another glitch in the game, Bon runs into a squished sprite of Rocket. The screen then goes black, a single buzzing tone playing while Sophie quickly says nevermind. Her own voice, however, glitches and then goes silent.
Starting the Game 2[]
This section starts similarly to the end of the introduction, with a screen of a barely-visible Rocket and the caption of "FOOTAGE FROM October 16th, 1982". Said footage begins with Jenny asking what happened, and Sophie explains that the game just crashed and was showing weird visuals. She says that it was like she was being told something, and Jenny teases her by asking if she thinks the game is haunted. The footage begins to cut out again while Sophie says, "Maybe". Jenny starts to talk about how she was playing the game one other time, and some things she would do caused glitches and bizarre visuals to appear. She tells Sophie that it's getting late, and asks if she's sure she wants to play then, and not just wait until they can play together, to which Sophie says that she can go to sleep if she wants. They say their goodnights, and Sophie selects her save file.
Instead of going back to the game, a 3D model of Bon appears, as a slower and deeper version of the title screen theme begins to play. Text then shows up, stating that the file data had been corrupted. Sophie complains, and then says that she isn't going to play Billy's level again. She chooses to continue with the corrupted file, and when she chooses yes, for a very brief moment, the "NO" option becomes a pair of distorted eyes.
Back to the Game[]
The game starts with Bon back in front of the barn. After walking in front of the mailbox, a brief new screen appears. The background is entirely red and looks to depict a barn and some trees, with a figure standing to the left, and at the foreground is what seems to be a game tip poster about carrots. This is discovered to be one of a few pages you can flip through, and Sophie flips through two other pages before the screen cuts back to the farm. Sophie wanders through the farm silently, and she approaches hay bales in front of some apple trees. Seeing another interesting character behind the tree for a single frame, the screen goes black once again. When it reappears, Sophie is approaching Banny. She chooses to play her level next. The title image that appears is an image of Banny standing in front of a pig pen, with the caption "Hippo House". Sophie points out what seems to be a contradiction.
Hippo House[]
We are met with another cutscene, this time beginning with an excited Banny. Holly asks if she and Bon are there to help with the pigs. Interestingly, Bon appears again, but can't finish agreeing with Holly before he disappears again. This implies that the awkward cuts in Billy's cutscene were intended to be Bon speaking. Banny enthusiastically agrees, however, and Holly says that it's important that they listen to her instructions. Her first rule is to not open the pigs' cages under any circumstance. Banny, of course, does exactly that, which causes the pigs to run into the Hippo House. Once the screen returns to the cutscene, another interesting figure appears in the background. For the first time since the beginning of the game, we hear Bon speak again, calling Banny a "dumb bunny". Holly says that the pigs each entered separate doors, and that they have to find the keys to each door. The background is briefly shown by itself, and during this frame, Jack Walten's missing person poster appears on the tree, and the blue figure disappears.
The next room we appear in is the Hippo House itself. It seems like a regular home, with three hippos in it, two being children at the table and the last being an older hippo sleeping in a chair. There are three doors, labeled with their respective numbers, and blue, green, and red keyholes. Sophie immediately notices some errors in the game, as she begins to clip through walls. She soon notices the blue key underneath the couch, and mentions needing to find a way to get to it. She notices the chicken leg bucket in the corner, and moves it in front of the sleeping hippo. The hippo then wakes up and runs to get it. This allows Sophie to push the chair and retrieve the key. She opens the first door with it, and Bon is transported to a dark room. No music plays in this room, similar to the room with the frog machine. Sophie approaches the entrance at the top, but before she can reach it, she clips back to the middle of the room with a black figure approaching Bon. When this figure reaches Bon, the screen goes black.
When the screen returns, Bon is back in the House, though there are a few changes. The first door and the older hippo are now gone, the picture on the wall has changed to the picture of Felix Kranken, and the children now have no eyes. Banny has also moved closer to the right wall, and her sprite is now slightly distorted. The red key has also appeared, laying on the floor behind the TV. Sophie retrieves the key, audibly confused about the changes to the House, and then proceeds to open the third door.
This time, music starts to play again, and we are brought to a room with another machine with a conveyor belt. On top of the machine is a pig, and on the floor is a scrambled puzzle. While Sophie is completing the puzzle, she again starts to talk about how the errors are appearing to be messages and wonders if it has something to do with interacting with the characters. When she completes the puzzle, everything goes black, except for a bloody image of Banny.
Susan's Unfortunate Night[]
That image disappears, and after a second, another image flashes for a single frame, this one being a photo of the door to the backroom in Bon's Burgers. The name "Susan Woodings" then appears for a second. After that goes away too, an image of Susan herself fades onto the screen for a few seconds. While this appears, an audio log of Susan speaking plays, and she talks about how the week has been strange. She says that she found it weird that they opened the restaurant even though Jack went missing, and that Rosemary came in asking about him. While she says this, an image of Jack fades onto the screen for a few seconds. That image fades away and is replaced with an image of a party table while Susan switches topics and begins to talk about how the first birthday party in the restaurant went well. At the end of saying that, her voice glitches. A photo of Banny replaces the image on screen, and Susan begins to say that she notices some irregularities in the animatronics. A photo of Bon then appears, and she mentions that most of the irregularities were in his animatronic, specifically the right arm. Finally, the image changes to the previous photo of the door, and Susan says that she may take Bon backstage to see if everything is okay. Her last statements are that she is the only one there since a fellow worker named Chris left earlier, and that she'll leave and close the restaurant when she's done. At the end, her voice glitches again, and the colors of the photo become distorted.
For a few seconds, the screen after this is pitch black and nearly silent, the only sound being a deep rumbling. The 'game' fades back into view, though Sophie is no longer playing as Bon. Now, the player character has changed to a purple figure with Susan's face. The room this section takes place in is the backrooms, with extra animatronic parts around. Sophie picks up a wrench, and approaches Bon. When she reaches him, the background changes to a photo of Bon, and the only sprites left are the ones of Susan and another, faceless Bon. Suddenly, the entire screen is changed to a black and white flashing image of Bon, and then Susan's face becomes distorted, seemingly melting from the eyes and mouth, while glitched audio plays. Another distorted photo of Susan appears, fading into a shriveled and bloodied one, and then fading into a bloody image of Banny. After this, we are brought back to the backroom section of the game, with the player character being Bon again. Sophie approaches a present box and picks it up, causing another image to slowly render. This image shows Susan stuffed into the Banny animatronic, with the caption of "i am still alive, but i cant move, and im having trouble breathing, and my stomach feels weird". This disappears, and the sprite of Bon moves to Banny's animatronic, giving her the present box. Banny's sprite then starts to move.
We are brought to a victory screen as a glitched version of what is presumed to be the victory theme plays before getting stuck on a single note. This screen has another image of Bon, and says "LEVEL COMPLETED!! great job SOAPIE!! YOU JUST MADE SUSAN BEAUTIFUL!!!" After which, a heavily distorted closeup of Banny appears, as loud and distorted singing is heard, which melts into a black and white version of the previous picture of Susan. Finally, we are brought back to the farm.
Linda's Diary[]
As Sophie walks around the farm, she says that the previous events were confusing and scary, but it felt like she was being told a story of an event. She then goes on to say that the pills she takes have been making her forget a lot of details from her childhood, and that she started taking them for a reason, but she doesn't want to think about it. As usual now, the game cuts and we are shown in front of the barn again. Sophie then conveniently decides to interact with the mailbox again.
It looks the same as it was before, the background is a red depiction of the forest. The first few pages that Sophie flips through are the same we previously saw, but abruptly the background goes black, and we are shown the cover of Linda Thompson's diary. As Sophie flips through the pages of her diary, most of which are entirely redacted, Bon's sprite walks off-screen. The pages that aren't redacted describe the beginning and subsequent downfall of Linda's marriage with Felix, which are described into more length on Linda's page. The last pages are Linda's letter to Felix stating that she's leaving him, a page saying nothing but "i am sorry" in red ink, and many blank pages. Sophie states that she shouldn't be reading it as she flips through the blank pages. Suddenly, the regular background comes back, with the sprite of Bon and the game tip about carrots returning.
That screen flickers for a moment, and we are brought to the farm again, although most of the items in the farm have disappeared, including the mailbox, Billy, Pete, and all of the yellow flowers. Sha and Boozoo seem to be the only other sprites left, and the level that Sophie chooses next is Boozoo.
Boozoo's Minigames[]
Before the title image for Boozoo's section appears, an image of Boozoo standing in front of the barn and the windmill appears. Then, the title image appears, a photo of Boozoo standing behind some party tables, with the caption of "Lily's Birthday". Unlike the other title screens, this one flickers on and off the screen, along with a picture of Boozoo in the bottom left corner. Audio of Boozoo asking Bon to help set up for Lily's birthday party plays. The image of Boozoo disappears and the end of the audio cuts off, leaving only the red background. A barely-visible image of Charles' face appears on the background, and then the picture of Boozoo reappears closer to the screen. While another audio clip of Boozoo plays, the image of Charles disappears, then followed by the background. Boozoo disappears after the audio ends, and the screen is left in pure black.
The room we are brought to is dark, with a big birthday cake in the middle, and party tables set up throughout. A music box rendition of the birthday song plays before leaving us in silence. Sophie wanders around the room for a minute before interacting with something in the corner, causing a text box to appear. This textbox has letters all around it and a distorted image of eyes on the left side. It goes away, and Sophie is, again, audibly confused. Sophie begins to speak, restating that it feels like this is related to a person or ghost trying to tell the player something, because it seems like the people being shown have died. The textbox appears again as Sophie moves to the bottom left corner of the screen. Sophie goes to the top of the screen and piano music begins playing as everything fades. Bon fades back into view in the middle of the room before the game, once more, cuts. Bon reappears back in the corner with Boozoo, and upon walking into him, Boozoo's sprite changes to a red sprite with Charles' face. Boozoo then suddenly appears with an audio clip that sounds like something from the animatronic itself. The background flickers red, with Charles' face appearing again, before we are brought to a Memorize! game.
Likely unintentional, but before the Memorize! game, another image flickers, this one being of what is presumably Martin Walls' computer screen.
The Memorize! game seems to start as normal, with Boozoo telling the player to closely look at the pictures, and then select the matching ones once they get flipped over. An interesting thing about the pictures is that while the other characters only have two matching images, Boozoo has four. Sophie makes two matches, and then it seems like she makes another match with Boozoo. Despite the pictures appearing to match, Boozoo still reacts as if they didn't. Sophie makes another match with one of the other pictures of Boozoo, and this time, it's counted as a success. After this, Sophie tries to match the other two photos of Boozoo again. The fourth photo, however, won't open despite the selection sound cue playing. After pressing on it a few times, it finally opens, and Boozoo again reacts as if they weren't a match. Before Boozoo's voice like can finish however, the game cuts out. Once it returns, Sophie again tries to match the other two, and the fourth picture refuses to open again. Once it does, it's revealed that the photo is no longer Boozoo, but instead a distorted picture of Charles. This time, it's treated as a success as well, and Boozoo appears closer to the screen. His voice glitches as he congratulates Sophie, and the background goes black. We are then taken to a game of Spot the Differences.
Boozoo's sprite in Spot the Differences seems to be more low-quality, a bit more blurry than the others. This game also seems to start regularly, with the first images we are given being Pete standing in front of an apple tree. After Sophie selects all of the differences, we are given two pictures of Bon leaning on a log in the snow. One of the notable differences in these images is the appearance of a shadow figure that looks similar to either Jack Walten, or Charles. After Sophie selects the shadow figure, the game glitches out, and takes us to the third pair of images. These are of Billy playing with a toy car and figurines. The differences in these images seem to foreshadow another occurrence, as two of the figures become red with frowns, and the third becomes black. When Sophie selects the red figures, the game abruptly takes us to the final images. The game goes silent, and these pictures are entirely different. One is of Charles alive, and the other one is a photo of his mangled face. Sophie seems to rapidly click on these photos, though nothing is appearing as a difference. Eventually, the game glitches out particularly badly, ending with a sprite of Boozoo's animatronic self, and a black background. Halfway through his distorted and glitchy audio clip congratulating Sophie, Boozoo's face gets replaced with Charles'. Finally, we are taken back to the overworld.
The player character now looks to be Boozoo with no face, and we are back in the room with the birthday cake. The piano music is playing again, as well. The sprite of Boozoo walks backwards, and upon interacting with a table, the screen changes to a photo of distorted eyes. The music changes and plays for a brief moment before we are shown another picture of Charles' mangled face. After a moment, the audio begins to repeat "MISSING 07-14-74". When this goes away, we are shown a bloody picture of Boozoo, with heavy breathing in the background. When this goes away, the pictures begin to glitch, and we eventually are left with another bloody picture of Boozoo, with the background audio repeating "MISSING" over some distorted music. This music ends up catching on one note, and everything goes black except for Boozoo's eyes and teeth. This too, goes away, and a heavily distorted picture of Charles appears over a single tone. Interestingly enough, when captions are turned on for the video, a secret line of text can be seen, which says, "I don't remember my face".
We are finally brought back to the farm, and for a brief moment, Bon's sprite glitches and appears faceless. More things are missing in the overworld now, and closer to where Boozoo and Banny had previously been standing, there is now Charles' and Susan's missing posters. Sophie starts to say that everything is kind of starting to make more sense. She states that these are all faces of people she knew when she was younger, and forgot. She says that she doubts they're alive now, because she would have heard from them. She says that she isn't sure digging into the events unfolding is the best decision, but that she's too curious to stop. The game cuts, and we reappear near Sha. Sophie doesn't even have the chance to interact with her first, and we are brought directly into Sha's section.
Hide and Seek with Sha[]
This time, we don't exactly get a title image at all. Instead, an image similar to the one that showed up at the beginning of Boozoo's section, an image of Sha in the forest, appears for a brief moment. It quickly flickers and glitches to a low-quality image of Sha in front of what appears to be rose bushes for a couple of frames. Like before, we don't get a real cutscene here either. What we are met with instead is a cartoon image of Sha standing in the forest, with the background pure red. Interestingly enough, the image of Sha seems to be more based on her animatronic appearance rather than her in-game appearance, and also lacks any eyes. She begins to say that the farm is beautiful, and that she didn't expect to see Bon. Every time Sha speaks, the image of her moves slightly to the left. When she asks what Bon is doing, we get to hear his voice again. Sha reappears when he's halfway through saying that he wanted to check on her, and soon after she reappears, the bloodied animatronic rendition of Bon appears in the background. She disappears once again when she says that she has already finished her tasks, but she reappears in the middle of the screen after Bon asks to play a game. The animatronic Bon disappears when she asks what he wants to play, and after the offer of Hide and Seek, Sha disappears as well, and images that look like art of Bon and Sha on walls get pasted over the screen. The red background and the forest disappear when Sha says that she'll hide, leaving only the other images before they, too, disappear.
After this, we are met with a purple picture of Sha with a countdown of 10 seconds on it. The countdown lingers on one, and the audio cue glitches. We are then told to seek with a picture of Sha seemingly inside of a burger. As Sophie is picking where to look for Sha, we can see the Showbear in the top left, and a couple graves that seem to, again, foreshadow another occurrence. Sophie considers seeking in the chicken coop, but chooses to look in the forest first. We are given a very pixelated image of a forest, with the caption of "Nothing to see here!" When we are taken back to the other screen, the Showbear is gone, and the graves have been replaced with two red figures. Sophie then goes to the garden. Again, we are met with a pixelated image of a garden, with the same caption, though this time, Rosemary's face is, very faintly, transparently overlaid in the corner and the animatronic Sha is in the background.
Back to the other screen, Rocket is now pasted over the graves, the flowers in front of the garden have disappeared, and there are now roses in front of the chicken coop. The picture is again pixelated, but there is no caption, and we can hear audio of farm animal's pens. A piece of paper that looks like a missing poster is laying on the ground, and you can see Sha's fur sticking out of one of the holes. Sophie selects Sha's fur, and the word "CONGRATULATIONS!!" blinks in the top left. Sha says "You found me" when the chime plays, and an image that looks like Sha bloodied and dismembered begins to fade into the screen. It quickly flickers away as soon as it becomes completely visible. We are brought back to the garden, with Rosemary's face still at the bottom of the screen, although the colors have become darker. The cartoon drawing of Sha has been replaced by her animatronic form, and she states that the game was nice and that she had fun. She then tells the player to hide.
We are shown the countdown screen again. After the timer hits one, the picture of Sha becomes darker and lingers for a few seconds. A sound clip of a sheep plays, and the image disappears. While Sophie picks a place to hide, the features on the icon of Bon has been distorted, and the roses have moved from the chicken coop to in front of the forest. Sophie chooses to hide in the forest. As music starts to play, Sha appears in the distance. She slowly approaches the screen. The music stops abruptly when she gets very close, and another voice begins to speak, saying "Am I still beautiful to you, Sophie?" The voice glitches at the end and the screen goes black, but then suddenly reappears with Rosemary's face over Sha's. Sophie says that she knows her, and the screen goes black again. Sha's voice says "Found you!" and a picture of the door from Susan's section appears with a red background. Sounds of sheep start playing, and captions appear, reading "I know where He is, Rosie", then changing to "follow me". The sounds change to something similar to a howl, and then they cut out, along with the picture. We are then shown the countdown screen again.
When the countdown ends, the previous picture of the art on the walls returns, now shown to be a hallway, with violently distorted noises playing. Blood appears on the right wall, and a new picture appears on top of hallway. This picture shows Sha on a red background with black text and a black box beside her, and Rosemary's crying face over Sha's, with a black line drawn over the mouth. Again, turning on captions reveals another hidden message, this one being, "MISSING: Rosemary Walten LAST SEEN: 07-19-1974". Screaming sounds begin to play over the noise, and the images change to a glitching picture of Sha, bloody and appearing to be crying. More blood appears on Sha, and she starts to move, before turning entirely red and freezing as the noises and the screen glitch and play repeating tones.
Sophie starts getting audibly terrified, whispering "holy shit", repeatedly, as all of the previous faces of the victims at the end of their respective segments begin to flash on the screen repeatedly, getting faster and faster until the game glitches back to a glitched version of the title screen, with two red figures flickering on and off the screen. Everything then goes black.
Meeting Showbear[]
The screen we are brought to now is of what seems to be an empty field at night, with a well in the center. The eyes on the well look back and forth for a few seconds as music begins to play, before the Showbear slowly rises out of it. The music stops when the Showbear is about halfway out of the well, and when he fully rises, he begins to speak. He introduces Sophie and the viewer to his magic fountain of memories, telling the player to step up and enter their most repressed experiences. He then asks Sophie what she would like to remember. A piece of paper then appears on screen, along with a pencil. Silently, Sophie writes "WHO ARE YOU?", and the screen returns to Showbear in the well. This screen cuts and takes us back to the piece of paper, where two stick figures are drawn while Sophie mutters, "Here goes nothing."
We are taken back to the well again, and for a single frame, Showbear is close to the screen before he disappears. After a moment of silence, a repeating note begins to play while the image of the well turns bright red. The note stops and the picture disappears. A new image appears now, a photo of a house with two shadowy children drawn on the doorstep, with the caption "05-02-1974". Sophie gasps and says that she thinks that was her old house.
The Deaths of Edd and Molly Walten[]
We are brought to another low-quality image, appearing to be of a corn maze. Showbear is seen ever so slightly in the background, before a pixelated Rocket suddenly appears. He acts like a character from the game, saying that he's so happy that Bon is there to help him clear the maze. He disappears, and then reappears as a squished sprite again, saying "All that's left to do is-" before he gets cut off by a ringing phone. The photo of the corn maze is replaced by a photo of a red rotary phone in what seems to be a living room. Rocket disappears, and we are again shown the date of May 2nd, 1974. The phone is answered, and we hear a conversation between Jack and Felix.
In this conversation, Jack asks Felix if he can do him and Rosemary a favor. Felix is hesitant, and Jack says that Edd and Molly have a school event that night, and they have no one to pick them up. Jack asks Felix to pick them up and take them home, and after some hesitation, Felix reluctantly agrees. Jack thanks him and explains that they need to be picked up at 5 and brought home by 9, and he says that Rosemary should be home by then. Sophie states that she remembered that conversation.
We are taken back to a new, corn maze section of the overworld, playing as Bon again, while Showbear begins to speak. He says that this memory seems to be buried deep within Sophie's mind, and that she must find them. Sophie seems to be panicking a little, starting to talk as she brings Bon through the maze. She says that she needs to take a deep breath, and that this got deeper than she thought it would. She also says she thinks she knows what's happening now, and that she knows all of these people. Sophie reaches a dead end of the maze, and Showbear approaches, holding a present box. He sets the box down and leaves, and Sophie picks it up. This causes a poster for the Brighton High School Spring Party to appear. When this goes away, Showbear again approaches, and Sophie leaves the maze the way she came with him following her. He disappears, and Sophie waits in front of the well. After a moment, reversed crying or laughing sounds begin to play, and two red figures approach and circle around Bon. The game cuts, and again the repeating tone returns. The game glitches multiple times, showing various different places in the maze, including an area with a certain black car. After that, we are brought to an image of a bedroom.
The date is shown once more, and two red scribbled drawings of Edd and Molly appear. Music starts playing, and a conversation is shown with captions. Edd tells Molly to get ready for the school party, and the drawings change from red scribbles to more accurate, yet bloody and seemingly distorted, drawings of the children. Molly says that she'll be ready in a minute, and she's looking for Rocket. Edd tells her to leave it and get ready, as Felix will be there soon. Sophie, with a shaky voice, says that it's Edd and Molly, and then a bigger, blue figure of Felix appears. The text is now red, saying that they need to leave, and asking if they're ready. A drawing of Rocket then appears, and Molly states that they can leave now. The three figures disappear, and Rocket lingers for a moment, before the screen goes black. After this, we are shown a low-quality and grey-scale image of a car, the same one we saw in both Boozoo's Spot the Differences minigame, and the glitchy section in the corn maze. A chime plays halfway before we are shown a sequence of images driving down a road. Audio of the radio is playing, and it sounds like Felix is about to say something, but the audio and the screen is cut off.
We are shown another overworld, labeled as the school at 9:37 P.M. Sophie wanders around with Bon for a few seconds in silence, before a sprite of Rocket approaches. He wordlessly tries to get Sophie to follow for a short amount of time, but as Sophie doesn't understand this, a caption saying "foll ow" blinks over his head. Sophie follows him to the end of the hall, and then loses him, wandering in confusion again. He approaches and tells her to follow him again, which she does. As she gets further down the hallways, music gets louder. Sophie stops at the end of the hall, and a new caption saying "over he re" appears above Rocket while he walks off-screen to the right. Seemingly, Sophie is brought to a dead end, but she finds a wall that she can walk through. When she walks through this wall, the player character changes from Bon to a red figure, with another red figure following closely behind. When these sprites reach Rocket, the red drawings come back before glitching into the other drawings. The background changes to a low-resolution photo of a school hallway, with Showbear appearing faintly in the shadows. We are then shown more dialogue between Edd and Molly.
Edd asks Molly if they can leave now that they found Rocket. Molly says that the school looks creepy at night, and wonders where Felix is. Edd says that they should look for him, and the drawings of Edd and Molly and the background disappear one by one. Rocket still lingers, this time turning red before he disappears as well. Back in the overworld, Sophie takes the sprites back through the wall, however, they don't change back into Bon, instead remaining as the red depictions of the children. Sophie brings them back through the hallways of the school, this time going through what looks to be a party room. Before Sophie enters the opening on the right side of the room, a caption appears, reading "DRINKING ZONE". Sophie hesitates, and then continues through this area. She approaches a shadowy figure with Felix's face, sitting on a barstool in this area. When the sprites reach him, Showbear begins to speak. While he speaks, a distorted face of Felix appears close to the screen, before showing his entire character on top of an image of a bar.
One of the children asks what Felix is doing, and he responds by saying that they're in a drinking zone, and shouldn't be there. His sprite disappears, followed by the background, and then the caption. He speaks in red text again, saying he's alright, just a little dizzy, and that they should leave because it's getting late. When this disappears, we are shown another image of a car, and Showbear tells the viewer to watch. We are shown footage of someone driving down the road, and now we get to hear Edd and Molly's voices over the radio as they audibly speak to Felix. Edd asks how long until they get home, and Felix responds saying that he thinks he's lost. Molly asks if Felix was drinking, and she says that her teacher says drinking isn't good. Felix interrupts her, saying that he just feels dizzy and that it isn't a big deal. Molly complains about wanting to go home, and Edd says that Felix is driving too fast. Felix says he's just trying to get them home quickly, following that up by saying he doesn't feel good and that he just wants to lay in bed. When Molly starts speaking, the captions say something different than her words. She insists that it's alright and that everything will be okay, but the captions say "It's all your fault", repeating four times.
We hear audio of a car crash, and then we see a scribbled red drawing of a face on a white background, with the caption, "OH NO! YOU GOT THE BAD ENDING!" while distorted music starts to play. The background turns red, and another caption appears saying "you couldnt finish the barn tasks in time!!" The picture changes to a red mask, and the caption changes to "you crashed the car!! You killed them!!!" Then, the background starts to glitch between the first and second picture, as well as Edd and Molly's faces. When we see the mask again, it begins to cry a dark liquid while reversed crying sounds play. More significant pictures continue to be added to this loop, such as Felix's face, the hallway, the car, and a picture of Felix crying, with the crying worsening to screaming sobs. When the sounds stop, Rocket's face appears close to the screen, and the text finally goes away.
This picture disappears, and in silence, we see the next one. This one is a picture of Rocket sitting in the forest. Showbear fades into view behind him, and he says that the children didn't go home that night. He continues on to say that Felix buried them in the forest out of fear. He then says that they eventually found a way out, and disappears. Edd and Molly, depicted again as red figures, fade into view in front of Rocket while reversed sounds are heard again. The figures get closer to Rocket, and then go inside of him. Rocket stands, and ominous sounds start playing while the background photo of the forest fades away. Rocket then also disappears, and we hear the phone again.
We hear a long beep, and a Text-to-Speech voice saying that the owner of the phone has 25 voicemails. In the voicemail we hear, Jack is begging Felix to pick up the phone. This is revealed to be three hours after Edd and Molly were supposed to be home, and Jack is heard asking what happened to them. He continues begging for answers as music gets louder, and a face fades into view beside the phone. Jack begins to sound more angry, and the voicemail abruptly ends with another beep as the images disappear.
They've Been Waiting For You Sophie[]
Showbear continues to speak to Sophie. He tells her that there is still something she forgot to remember, and he says that "they" have been waiting for her. Piano music begins, playing while all we see is a black background.
The piano music continues, and the overworld fades into view again, showing Banny, Boozoo, and Sha standing around a present box in what looks like Bon's Burgers. A faceless sprite of Bon approaches them from the bottom right, and upon interacting with Banny, the music stops and a black an white photo of her appears. Bon then interacts with Boozoo and Sha, causing their respective black and white pictures to show up, after which a different sprite of Bon approaches the faceless one. This new sprite looks more like the animatronic, with a longer stature, and long, grey limbs. When the animatronic sprite of Bon reaches the faceless Bon, a photo that seems to be Bon, but is darkened so only the eyes are visible, appears. The actual animatronic version of Bon appears on screen in front of this image, and then the screen goes black.
A bloody, black and white image of Bon appears close to the screen with a distorted version of Daisy Bell playing. This disappears and the music stops, but Bon's bloodied animatronic reappears, screaming and moving erratically while glitching images flicker in front of him. The screen flashes red for a moment, and finally we are shown a picture of Rocket, noticeably lacking any form of damage, sitting in a chair with a white background. Faces appear beside him as we hear static, and then BunnyFarm ends with credits. After the credits are finished, an image of what appears to be an intro or outro card for a video from BSI appears, with the date marked 1974. This may potentially be a teaser for the next episode.

Secrets & Easter Eggs WIP[]
- In the Hippo House, on the table where the two children are sat, there's a pink teapot that looks an awful lot like the character Bubu, a character created by Martin's old friend KamilFirma.
- Despite lacking a scene for Brian Stells, he still shows up very briefly. In a blink and you'll miss it moment, he can be seen as a sprite behind the Bobby Hippo statue. He's kind of hard to make out, due to hiding near a haybale, and blending in with the blurry and kinda dark static. He also appears again in the corn maze section, even less visibly among the corn.
- As Sophie goes through the overworld after Billy's minigame, a grey pair of legs with black shoes is briefly seen in the cow pen. Safe to assume it's most likely Jack Walten.
- When Sophie finds Sha, and the picture of a torn-up Sha appears, her severed limbs are laid out in the exact same way that the picture of Rosemary's corpse showed back in Relocate Project.
Trivia[]
- BunnyFarm itself seems to be an homage to/inspired by Martin's old cancelled fangame, Minibon's, which was itself, HEAVILY inspired by Scott Cawthon's controversial game, FNAF World.
- The episode was also originally going to be much shorter but was extended after the original version was lost back in December 2020, due to Martin's computer becoming corrupted, and him forgetting to back up the files used for the episode. This mistake nearly happened again with the fourth episode, but thankfully Martin backed up all the files beforehand, so nothing was lost.
- The entire area where Susan performs maintenance on Bon actually uses the old BunnyFarm character sprites instead of the new ones! Whether this was reused footage from the old version of BunnyFarm, a way to distinguish between animatronics and the BunnyFarm characters, or just an error is unknown.
- Martin has confirmed how he will NOT be turning BunnyFarm into a game due to having to deal with college and making The Walten Files videos at the same time. [1]
